At our Honda Montgomery dealer, McConnell Honda, we know that for many people, the words Honda and Accord are one and the same. And that’s no mistake, because the 2011 Honda Accord Sedan in Montgomery is more than just a car. It is a collection of ideas. Like the notion that you can be responsible and still enjoy yourself. Or, that smarter engineering can result in both power and efficiency. That’s the way Honda thinks. And it’s why Accord exists.
Powertrains and Performance
For an extra helping of athletic ability, try the Accord EX-L V-6 6-speed Coupe. Its short-throw shifter gives you pinpoint control over the vehicle’s well-chosen gear ratios. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels also complement its sporting potential.
The all new 2011 Honda Accord Sedan in Montgomery has the latest generation of Variable Cylinder Management(VCM®) technology. This system can activate and deactivate the engine’s cylinders as needed to meet the demands of acceleration and help maximize fuel efficiency.
Imagine an engine that not only exhilarates, but can also minimize fuel use and emissions. The Honda Accord offers three. A 177-hp, 2.4-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder (sedan only) and a 190-hp version, both of which received a Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle (PZEV) rating.2 A 271-hp, 3.5-liter V6 is also a model of efficiency.
Interior Design and Special Features
From the way the seat holds your form to the way the controls feel to your touch, every detail is scrutinized. Nothing is superfluous. Man and machine have never been more in tune.
The simplicity and ease with which controls and switches fall to hand reflect the intense scrutiny paid to their design. A signature Accord benefit is that interacting with the vehicle’s various systems quickly becomes second nature. Comfort comes not just from the wide, supportive seats, rich upholstery or available supple leather. The Accord interior is a study in appealing textures, precisely joined surfaces and exacting quality.
On navigation-equipped Sedan models, shift into reverse, and the rearview camera with an innovative guideline display makes it easier for you to maneuver the vehicle when backing up. Move up to an EX-L model, and your ears will be treated to a 270-watt, 7-speaker audio system with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, an 8-inch subwoofer, XM® Radio, an MP3/auxiliary input jack and a USB Audio Interface7 so you can plug in a compatible player or flash drive filled with music files. All models are equipped with Radio Data System (RDS), which can display artist and title information of the song playing and lets you scan for a particular type of music or program.
The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system is standard on all Accords. During an understeer or oversteer situation, it can brake individual wheels and/or reduce engine power to help restore your intended course. Standard ABS will also help you maintain steering even during hard braking. Also standard is Brake Assist, which helps apply full braking in some emergency situations, and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), which helps braking performance by distributing brake force among the four wheels based on how much load each wheel is bearing.
All five passengers benefit from 3 point seat belts. The front belts are equipped with an automatic tensioning system that tightens in the event of a moderate-to-severe frontal impact. Outboard rear seats have the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) child-restraint system.
